Advocate and consultant to the family caregiver, Renee Balcom is the founder of the Raging Aging, #WETOO MOVEMENT, the Silver Lining Network & Directory and Renee & Company. She is a passionate author and speaker who will entertain and delight her audience with a brutally honest delivery that will touch the heart of every listener.
After working with hundreds of people who are classified as age-ed, Renee came to realize that most of the information being provided to us about aging is wrong, most of our beliefs about aging is wrong, and her mission is to set the record straight.
Old people having sex? Ew! Why does the very idea invoke something close to disgust in so many? We need to open our minds to “senior sex”, get comfortable with the idea. Strive to be a part of the party and never abandon our sexuality for the stereotypical lonely “old man / or woman”. Overturn the conventional notions that are reinforced by advertising that sex is only for the young. At any age, adults have the right to seek out sex with other consenting adults without censure.
